Lair update messes up your save file

We've been getting reports that the analog stick update to Lair seems to render your save file completely useless. It remains in the HDD, but the console doesn't seem to be able to recognize it after the game patch is applied. Massive phail on Sony's part if true. Readers, please confirm this information in the comments section.

Update: We got word that this has been happening to people who have a PAL copy but downloaded the NTSC patch. If this means you, consider yourself warned.

Rumor: Little Big Planet Coming to PSP

An inside source revealed to CVG today that the much hyped Little Big Planet title would see a release on Sony's handheld. If true, this is AWESOME news. Portable Little Big Planet FTWOMGWTF!!11!. I just hope they manage to retain the complex physics system in the portable version.

e-tard moment: 360's HDDVD drive gets a firmware update

Talk about reanimation, huh? Still, it's cool to know that everyone's favorite brick had a few new tweaks done. I won't bother listing them because let's face it, the thing is dead. We have to let go and let it rest in peace.

Sad news: Sega Racing Studio closes it's doors

This is a serious post. I love Sega racing games. Always have. I've played a lot of arcade racers, but never felt anything that could be remotely compared to the kind of exhilaration that is present in titles like Sega Rally, Daytona USA, SCUD Race or Outrun 2. I don't know why, but there's something about these titles that screams pure fun and adrenaline and they're ultimately hard to let go once you start playing.

Which is why it pains me to know that Sega Rally Revo was a sales flop and Sega are shutting down the Sega Racing Studio on account of non profitability. What really scares me is that the brand name doesn't seem to carry the weight it once had and I'm afraid this franchise is now doomed to be left rotting in the depths of oblivion forever.

:(

HAHAHAHA, no way! Now really, EA whatthehellareyoudoing??

This post is Rock Band related, by the way. When it was released in the States, Rock band was a full package. It included all the instrument controllers, microphone and the game itself. This pack was 170 dollars.

Europe once again gets raped up the bum in pricing, but this time it's so bad it's good. Like, they're going to release two Rock Band products. One with the instruments and mic but without the game, and another with the game but without any instruments or mic. (STOP LAUGHING ALREADY, I HAVEN'T FINISHED.)

The first, humm...bundle? will cost 170€/130£. That's about 267 dollars just for the instruments. If you then go crazy and open the box, (thus ruining it's value completely and rendering it unsuitable for a full refund) it's probably because you might want to play the game. Well that'll set you back another 70€/50£... 240€/180£ for a game. That's 378 dollars, lol.

NO FUCKING WAY. That is all.

Major change to the look of the blog

Now back in full force and better than ever. Thank you blogger templates. You make life so much easier.

Madonna - 4 minutes

So I listened to Madonna's new single today.

It was disgusting.

I like some of her post Ray of Light stuff, but this is just revolting. Madonna could do us all a favor and call back William Orbit and Morwais Ahmadzai as producers. So as to, you know, stop churning out crap like this song. She's still kinda hot, though. In a perverted "I'd do your aunt" kind of way.

I could post a link to the video. Yeah I think I definitely could.
